Jerry, how are you doing today?

I'm great.

Thanks for having me on. This is fun. This is a lot of fun. It's the first NFL channel I've been on. Really? Oh, wow. Shocking because Texas sends a lot of guys to the NFL. So I'm shocked. A little surprised somebody hasn't reached out to you yet. but last weekend at the draft, Miami didn't

take one, not two, but three players from the University of Texas. Then you throw in two players

from Texas Tech and our general manager just loves to stay in Texas, I guess. But let's start

with the first player from the Longhorns. Trey Moore in round four.

What position does he play per se?

Because I've seen offball linebacker.

I've seen edge.

In your opinion, where is he the best fit?

I think he's an edge overhang linebacker depending on your scheme.

So he's undersized as an edge, right, in terms of height, maybe length, arm length. But I think that's where he's best rushing the passer. That is where he's at his best. Texas played him at off ball linebacker last year. I think they're really trying to help his development is what they're doing. They said, did the same thing with Anthony Hill, went to the Titans in the second round. I think they were really trying to help further those guys' development.

But I think if you kind of, if you look back at Trey Moore, whether that's at UTSA before he transferred the Texas, he's best, closest to the line of scrimmage, rushing the passer.

He is really strong a player against the run.

And when you look at his frame, you might not think so, but he is really strong guy.

And I'll tell you this, I mean, besides the football part on Trey Moore, the type of guy

leader, teammate that Miami Dolphins players are going to have with them and what the Miami franchise

drafted. He became one of the team leaders and captains after transferring from UTSA to Texas.
