From the EPR creation studio, this is more hot takes, another hot takes edition from the Unconquered podcast, this time after a 16 to 13 loss to open the season against Georgia Tech.

And by now, Florida state fans are used to starting seasons with a loss and being irrelevant before the season really even begins.

So nothing really new here, but a lot to get frustrated by.

A few things to be encouraged by.

best shot this evening anyway. So let's go ahead and get to it. First thing I want to really

emphasize in this is that despite the result, I actually think that this was

noticeably a better coach team than what we've seen in the last couple of years.

I think you saw that particularly in the special teams, which is something that the

preseason previews said to expect. I mean, if you recall, going back through the preseason

previews, said, look, the offense is not going to be more efficient than it was last year. It's

very unlikely. You had a very good offensive staff last year. You lost your best and most explosive

player. You don't have a whole lot of upgrades.

Basically, you're looking at bringing back on offense.

Everybody that was there last year except for your best player,

and you're not really getting upgrades where you're replacing guys.

So basically what you saw in offense was kind of what would be expected in that regard.
