totemic figure of the left of left-wing journalists and progressive journalism,

an incredible campaigner, and as I'll say when I talk to him,

Sony's had a profound impact on me and other, a whole generation really, of younger writers.

From the climate emergency, to the history of British imperialism,

to critiques of the terrible unjust order that currently prevails, I mean he's just,

you know, he has many different hats and his columns are always exceptional.

So it's a huge pleasure to speak to him and we cover a lot of ground from the climate

emergency, catalysm, fish, would you believe, British imperialism, you name it.

but when I was, for those of us who came of age in the 90s, George was a life raft, I would say,

in a pretty politically desolate time, I had a big impact on young aspiring progressive journalists,

like myself, an incredible author, writer, journalist, so many different talents, so many different

areas, we'll talk about some of the bits, it's a massive pleasure, massive honor to have you with us.
