He's in Hawaii with his wife Marsha and his good friend Steven Spielberg for a vacation, his first in six years.

After months of nonstop work, the beach is a much needed reprieve from the hustle and bustle of moviemaking.

As George stares out over the majestic Pacific Ocean, he can't hide the beaming euphoric smile on his face.

George has just finished a phone call with Alan Lad Jr., an executive at 20th Century Fox.

Lad, or Laddie, as he's known, has been calling nonstop with box office updates on Star Wars.

The numbers are unprecedented.

As he joins George on the beach front, Steven Spielberg notices the grin,

What are you smiling at?

What did Laddie have to say?

Well, all of this morning's 9 AM screenings were sold out.

Every single screen.

That's extraordinary, George. I've never heard of that before.

Star Wars has already taken in 3 million.

Well, congratulations. You've earned it.
