| 0:44.4 | storyline of Genesis it starts in the beginning God so God's the theme the |
| 0:49.3 | subject the hero not only of Genesis but all of Scripture and history. And then God makes |
| 0:56.1 | everything in everyone and God is perfect and when God concludes his work |
| 1:00.8 | everything and everyone is perfect. And then God gives our |
| 1:04.6 | first parents Adam and Eve an opportunity to start making decisions and they |
| 1:09.2 | choose to side with Satan against God. They choose death instead of life, they choose lies instead of truth, |
| 1:16.1 | and they choose cursing over blessing. |
| 1:18.4 | And the result is that human history is forever changed by this decision to sin against our God. |
| 1:25.8 | That being said, God now has a decision to make. |
| 1:28.6 | He can either just allow us all to die and humanity to come to an end or he can wait patiently and he can |
| 1:36.0 | give us an opportunity to see if we can fix the problem that we have made. |
| 1:40.7 | So God waits 1,556 years. |
