This sermon is going to be really hard to hear, okay?

This is going to be a little difficult.

We're in Genesis 5 and 6 and six times mark I've been teaching

through books in the Bible for about 25 years and this week's section of

scripture might be the most difficult and complicated the good news is I'm

51 and exhausted. So what could possibly go wrong?

And what we find is we're going through the book of Genesis and as we go through books of the Bible,

you hit certain sections that otherwise you probably just wouldn't pick.

And this is one of, so we have a Hebrew phone book and then what may be aliens.

So that's where we find ourselves in Genesis 5 and 6.

We'll get there in a moment, but as you're finding

your place in God's word as we go through this great and amazing book of the

Bible, it really comes down to something very simple. There is the world and

there is the word and there is this constant collision and

conflict between what people think in the world and what God says in the word.
