these people who were people of God, but still made mistakes. And so here's where we are.

Joseph revealed his true identity to his brothers. There was that flood of emotion, the tears,

the crying, and the difficult moments for him as he revealed who he was. The brothers, they're

shocked, obviously, a little afraid.

Joseph then assured them, this was God's doing, everything's okay, what you meant for evil, he

meant for good. And then he's sent ahead of them to save him from the famine, really. And then Jacob

and their whole family packed their bags and moved to Egypt where his son was in charge.

Jacob finally gets to see his long lost son.

But he stops at Beersheba and he had a vision of God's confirmation that this is the plan for them to go to Egypt and leave Canaan, the promised land.

And so there's this great story of God's sovereignty in both Joseph and Jacob's
