Now, it came to pass after these things.

So that's a quick way of saying some time passes, right?

Joseph spends some time in prison, which, and this is hard time beyond.

After these things, that the king of Egypt's chief cup bearer and the chief baker

offended their lord the king of Egypt.

So Pharaoh was angry with his two eunuchs, the chief cup bearer, and the chief baker.

Okay.

So again, eunuch, see cup bearer and the chief baker okay so again eunuch see previous note right these are officials right so the cup bearer was an incredibly important

trusted position because you think wow he carried a cup around but no this, this was the guy who tasted all of the drink that was going to be served

to Pharaoh to make sure it wasn't poisoned.

And I don't mean make sure it wasn't poisoned as in like he was carefully trained to sniff

and detect poison or to take tiny sips and detect poison by taste, he would take a drink

and they'd see if he'd die.

Right?

He would take a drink and they would watch.

Right.

Now, of course, why I say this had to be a trusted position is if somebody was going to try

and poison Pharaoh, here's your ideal guy

to do it. Right. So this had to be someone you deeply trust it, right? Because it'd be very easy
