And when we get started in just a moment, we'll be picking up in Genesis chapter 39.

And we're going to get off easy in terms of recap again this week a little bit.

Because last time we talked about the story of Judah and Tamar,

which was sort of a pause and refocus in terms of the story of Joseph.

We'd sort of begun the story of Joseph.

We'd met Joseph. We'd seen the, shall we say, tension between he and his brothers. That tension reached

the point where some of the brothers at least wanted to kill him. Elder brother talked

them out of it and into just selling him as a slave to some ishmaelite cousins

who were on their way past on their way to Egypt in a caravan and then we detoured the story of

Judah and Tamar but so we don't really need to to the story of Judah and Tamar.

So we don't really need to recap the story of Judah and Tamar for where we're going to pick up now.

Now we're going to be going back to, hey, whatever happened to that Joseph kid.

We left off with the caravan.

So, see, quick, easy recap.
