As we begin our time today, I want you to take a moment, set aside distractions,

and think of all the ways God has been generous toward you.

God's generosity is revealed to us in his graciousness, his provision, his protection, and his blessing.

Can you think of ways he's shown generosity towards you?

Jeremiah, chapter 29 and verse 11, tells us that God actually plans to bless us. The Lord declares, I know the

plans I have for you, plans to prosper you, and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future.

Think about that for a moment.

God and his divinity and sovereignty

makes plans to bless,

prosper, and protect you.

With this in mind,

let's verbalize out loud our gratitude for his good plans.

Say out loud, Jesus, thank you for planning good things for me.

Jesus, thank you for being generous toward me.

Jesus, thank you for giving me a hope and a future.

Let's take 30 seconds now and surrender our plans to Jesus.

His plans are always better than ours.
