and I have had the privilege of leading the women's discipleship group ministry here at TVC for the last five years.

I say it's a privilege because discipleship to King Jesus has changed my life forever.

Because mature godly women chose to obey the great commission and teach me to observe all that God had commanded

them. I have a joy and a delight in abiding in Christ that has proven over and over no scheme

of the enemy can take it away. So if you want to learn more about this ministry that has meant

so much to me, we actually have an interest meeting today. It's at 2.30 in Suite 288. It's just before

the members' meeting. Our scripture today is from the book of Colossians chapter one verses 15 through 20 he is the image of the

invisible god the first born over all creation for everything was created by him in heaven and

on earth the visible and the invisible.

Whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities,

all things have been created through him and for him.

He is before all things, and by him, all things hold together.

He is also the head of the body, the church. He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, so that he might come to have first place in everything. For God was pleased

to have all his fullness dwell in him and through him to reconcile everything to himself,

whether things on earth or things in heaven, making peace through his blood shed on the cross.

This is the word of the Lord.
