Summary

Acts 11:27-30 - Now in these days prophets came down from Jerusalem to Antioch. 28 And one of them named Agabus stood up and foretold by the Spirit that there would be a great famine over all the world (this took place in the days of Claudius). 29 So the disciples determined, every one according to his ability, to send relief to the brothers[d] living in Judea. 30 And they did so, sending it to the elders by the hand of Barnabas and Saul.

Hello, my friends and welcome back to the morning mindset.

It's time for you and for me to get our minds aligned with the truth of God when I ask

you to be thinking about a certain word as we are going through our passage today and

that word is generosity.

And think about how it's demonstrated in the passage we read and then begin to think

This is Acts chapter 11, verse 27 through 30.

something that's coming so that they can prepare but notice what preparation they make.

They don't start hoarding things, they don't start gathering things for their own use,

they think outwardly, they think in a generous way toward those in the land of Judea.

Now we're not quite sure why Judea.

Maybe they had some sense that it was going to be a worse famine there than it was where
