Hi everybody, this is Radio Free Mormon coming to you and broadcasting behind enemy lines.

0:07.4

We've just gotten done with the Sunday morning session of October 2025 General Conference.

0:13.2

Today's date is October 5th, 2025, and I'm coming at you with my commentary on what happened in this session.

0:21.4

Now, the first thing that is the most important thing that happened in the session

0:24.9

is what did not happen in this session.

0:27.5

The family proclamation was not put forward for a sustaining vote to be included in scripture

0:33.6

for the LDS Church.

0:35.3

There is still an off chance that it could happen in the Sunday

0:37.9

afternoon session, but generally if something big happens, it's going to be happening in the morning

1:13.5

sustaining vote if you were going to. As I say, there's still a slight chance it could happen

1:17.8

in the Sunday afternoon session, but I don't think it's going to happen. So that's the big news.

1:22.4

There were a number of interesting talks that were given, or I should say not really interesting

1:26.8

talks. I mean, does that ever happen

1:28.4

in general conference? Not often. But there were some interesting points to comment about certain

1:33.6

talks, and we'll do that as well here today. Okay, so as you know, this is, excuse me for a second,

1:40.9

while I look for my notes.

1:45.3

Oh, there they are.

1:46.8

Here we go.
