I guess Gina Davis knew she wanted to be an actor pretty much her whole life.

When she plucked up the courage to tell her parents her plan, they were surprisingly

cool with it.

When I said I want a major in acting at BU, they were like, okay, as if I'd said something

you could get a job and you know, and then when I eventually did get a job, my first

job was in Tutsi.

It was my first audition even.

I remember I came home to visit my mom in the neighbor where I talked to my best friend's

mother.

We were talking, she was like, I can't believe it.

Nobody can believe this is crazy.

My mom said, what, she studied acting in college.

I guess that's how it works.
