Well, to devote an episode to delving two feet first

and to the hookless debate, hookless tire conversation, hookless rim

discussion, the wider hookless conversations happening following Thomas against Crash on stage 5 of the UEE tour.

Those debates, those discussions, those conversations only intensified following a remarkably similar looking incident that his teammates Johannes Ademitz suffered nine days later at the Strato Bianchi race in Italy and central to both of those incidents where Zipp who manufacturer the

Rims of both riders were using at the at the time of those incidents.

The manufacturers involved both namely Zipp and

Vittoria along with the team lot of destiny have all stated since that impact

most likely with a rock was the cause of the Ghent incident and well the result of all that is that

more confusion remains around the use of hookless in a road setting.

To address that confusion and some of the concerns that stem from multiple incidents involving the same team, same

same components. I invited ZIP on the podcast and today I am joined

by David Morse and Nathan Sickle.

Can you briefly give us an introduction to yourself

and what your role is at ZIP.

Yeah, so I joined ZIP in 2003 and I'm currently product manager for the ZIP product line.
