training right and you're all ready to crush that race, it's disappointing

for sure to have the day you've been dreaming of taken away so quickly. I get it. Longtime listeners

will know that Iron Man, Texas on April 25th was supposed to be my very first full Ironman.

Training was going well. I was feeling healthy and I was really excited to rock

and roll on race day. And even beyond me, podcast regulars coaches Jeff Raines, Elizabeth James,

and John Mayfield were all hitting those race rehearsals and getting those key workouts in,

getting ready for 70.3 Texas that was just a few weeks away. You guys know

what came next because no matter what spring event you had lined up, the result was the same.

It was canceled or was postponed. I have seen a lot of different reactions from triathletes

all over social media. I've seen frustration. I've seen disappointment. I've

seen anger, anxiety, and confusion. I've seen some athletes concerned with getting their money

back. I've seen some athletes wondering how rescheduled races are going to impact their fall races.

I've seen athletes making jokes about it and just trying to spread a little humor along the way
