For those of you who don't already know, Pink Friday is an annual event held every November before Black Friday with one mission: to promote shopping small first. It’s a chance for you to get consumers in the door before all of the big guys and Black Friday deals. So, today I'm talking all things Pink Friday – why we celebrate, ideas for how to do so and the tools at your disposal.

1:15.2	the fourth quarter for boutiques to celebrate what it means to be a boutique. So just like Black
1:20.6	Friday, Pink Friday is a day for consumers to shop small first. Now hear me out. I get it. Small business Saturday is awesome.
1:29.4	We all participate, but here's my beef with small business Saturday is that I feel like it's an
1:34.4	afterthought. I feel like it comes after Black Friday. It's after everyone's already spent their
1:39.5	money at the big box store and whatever they have left over, maybe they're going to nickel and dime at a
1:44.7	local shop. And that's great. It turns out to be a big day for many of you, but I really wanted to
1:49.3	shift focus to create a worldwide annual event that you can count on that is meant just for
1:55.5	independent retailers and local shops that might be in your community to team up and really tell
2:00.6	the story of what it means to be a small business owner and to in your community to team up and really tell the story of what it means
2:01.9	to be a small business owner and to invite your community to shop with you first. So over the last
