The reports are worthless because the Hamas voices dominate all official reporting out of Gaza.

However, we know the hostages remain unavailable and the

negotiations are non-transparent. At the same time, Israel continues a chase of what remains of the

Hamas and there is no definite end of this conflict claiming that there's a ceasefire now seems fantastic. I read the headline

earlier of 28 countries condemning Israel for what is called the drip feeding of aid, using a metaphor

from medical attention to a dying patient. However, all of that reporting is influenced by

Hamas. Jonathan, the puzzle about Gaza is, is there a ceasefire?

Is there an end to this?

Who calls the last day of shooting?

Is it Jerusalem?

Is it Doha?

Is it Washington?

Who's in charge?

Is there anyone in charge? Well, it's a committee, John. And

when there's a committee, it usually means that no one is in charge. And I would argue that right now,

it's probably Cairo, Doha, the United States, and Israel all working to arrive at a final

status or arrangement that I just don't see happening anytime soon.

Look, what we're hearing right now is that Donald Trump feels optimistic that there could be a deal

that sees the return of 10 live hostages as well as 18 dead that would leave for another

round of negotiations, yet another 10 Israelis

that are alive and then yet another 12 Israelis that are dead.
