From the desolation of the wasteland, an unlikely team of four escaped slaves carved a path ahead of them that saw them become heroes in the eyes of the people of the greater St. Louis wasteland.

From fixing fridges to felling fiends, they fought for freedom, found friendship, and faced F.E.V. Freaks.

Eventually four became five, and the runaways, as the locals call them now, are finally at a critical moment in their adventure.

The seemingly benevolent psychic giant, Johann, in an effort to create a wasteland utopia,

seeks the approval of surrounding human settlements in order to trade, but will his people

be able to hold out before famine settled in?

What's more, the key to ending much suffering in the wasteland could

very well be just beneath the surface, locked in a vault brimming with unknowns, a vault

that may very well open on tonight's episode of Gateway.
