But giving a lot of thought about what I wanted to talk about today, super excited about the

Q&A.

And so with the only 20 minutes, I want to focus on random things that are running through

my mind that I think could possibly bring value to the audience.

So let's start with number one.

Up there, I've started articulating 20 years into my career what I've actually been up to.

Like how did I get to this point?

I think in a world right now where so many people want to start talking about what they're going to do or who they're going to be or in a

world where everybody's so focused on building their personal brand.

And I'm clearly an advocate of that and have had the benefits.

But I want to tell Amsterdam right now that I think an important part of my narrative was for the first 15 years of my business

career, I didn't say a fucking word to anybody.

I went out and I worked 18 hours a day and I built a liquor store into one of the first e-commerce wine businesses in the

US.

And then in my mid-30s, I decided that I earned the right for the pleasure that I have right now which is standing here.

And I think one thing that I implore all of you to give a lot of thought to is we now live at a 24-7 content driven Snapchat,

Instagram, build your personal brand world.

It is massively important to have something to talk about that is authentic and not posturing and peacocking to where you're going.

Look, we are living through a very interesting time.

We are living through a time where over the last five to seven years we've had an enormous growth of people that are entrepreneurs.
