So he's a best-selling author and an international speaker. And his books guys have sold well over 2 million copies worldwide at this point. And he's probably most known for his marriage and relationship books. I mean, he's

definitely most known for that. And that includes sacred marriage, which is sold over a million copies

by itself and Cherish, which is actually on the 100 books every modern Christian man should

read list today. But also, he is here today specifically to talk about something that isn't

kind of in the marriage and relationship category. And that's his new book, The Life You Were Reborn to Live, Great Title, Dismantling Twelve Lies that Rob Your Intimacy with God. And so that was a scaffolding for our conversation today. He's been on the podcast before, Episode 3,67. So if you want to hear us talk about marriage, that was about his book, you know, your marriage is a fortress and things like that. But this one today is more about Christian living. And we look at 12 lies, right? So we

actually fly over most of them. I think we covered, you know, two thirds of them or three quarters of

them or so. And these are lies that are basically stumbling blocks for a Christian life. And so he

knows the audience. He knows 95% male audience. He's really a big

fan of what we're doing here at Undaunted Life. And so he really kind of catered his commentary

to the 95% of the men that are listening to this, but to our five percenters out there to the

ladies, there's plenty of here for you, plenty stuff here for you as well. And then the thing about this particular

conversation, we were talking about, okay, what is this restlessness that a lot of us feel,

this anxious, this kind of low-grade anxiety that we feel all the time and where does that come

from? But also how that dovetails into our need for control. And then he gives his argument for

why guys that think about their family first are actually playing into Satan's hands.

So that's an interesting one.
