Summary
This week’s guest has had two very successful careers to date, firstly as a footballer and secondly as a TV presenter, who has hosted BBC’s Match of the Day for the last 24 years! So, you could say that Gary Lineker knows a thing or two about adapting to changes that the rolling years can bring. He speaks about the contentment he has found in solitude as he gets older, and why sometimes a canine friend is all you need.
At the midpoint, Gary also found a new passion for cooking – although he reveals why he won’t be cooking on our screens any time soon! – and became more vocal and politically engaged on Twitter which led to some very positive experiences, primarily welcoming refugees into his home.
We also have hair expert Michael Douglas back on the podcast, to give some tips to both men and women who might be struggling with hair loss in midlife.
