fantastic well typically Gary with with this podcast we start with a question that I ask everyone which is Gary were you a weird kid?

I guess I mean I don't think it was too weird but but I don't know I mean I was early on interested in books and all that sort of stuff when most of the other people around me weren't

And I guess it was even a bit threatening to my parents. I mean they were you know very hard working working class

You know people who didn't have you know much of reading and culture and all that and I just it just sort of set me apart at a certain time but you know I wasn't

Kafka or anything like that I mean I was I was into comic books that was the big thing that got

me started in fact that one interview, someone had asked, you know, how did

you get started doing all these things. And I had said that there was a character called Cosmic

Boy who was a member of the Legion of Superheroes that they appeared in the back of Super Boy

comic books or I think adventure comic books.
