do what it does which is grow and produce a beautiful bulb of garlic and so we're

So Jeremy, what should we be thinking about when it is finally time?

We've prepared our site, we've chosen the right type of garlic. What do we do now when we're planting it out?

All right, so the next step would be popping your clothes out of the bowl.

So this can be a tedious process if you have

thousands of clothes to plant, but for your home

gardener, it shouldn't take too much time. One thing you want to do when

you're popping the clothes is just be gentle with them. We don't want to bruise

the clothes or puncture them with our fingernails.

So typically what I'll do is I'll start at the top of the bulb and I'll remove the paper from the top in a kind of in a circular fashion and then push that paper down with my thumb.

And most garlic bulbs sort of have a natural division in the half.

They sort of divide in half naturally.

So I will just break that bulb in half along that natural division.

And then from there I'll gently pop each clove from the top
