What's up everyone? Welcome back to the show. I really hope you enjoyed last week with

John Kohler. Gotta tell you it was a total trip to have him out to the house and also to

hang out in the office and record some episodes for you guys so I really hope you

enjoyed them. This week is yet another guest week and I'm really enjoying

some of the guests that I've been bringing on this week is no different. This is

Daniel McAllister from Crop Swap and App which of

course we're going to talk about in the episode over the course of the week or so

but actually this whole week is a bit higher level we're not going to get too deep into

nitty gritty gardening techniques and tactics. Instead we're going to zoom out a little bit, talk a little bit about

the intersection between gardening in our lives,

gardening in society, gardening in activism, gardening in economics, all these different types of

topics will blend together.

I think you're going to find him super energetic, super fun to listen to, and hopefully I

contributed a little as well as the conversation. So let's go ahead and let Dan take it away.

All right, Dan, we are here. I feel like we've known each other via the internet for a long, long time,

but we've never actually spoken. And it segues us pretty much perfectly into this first episode,

which is talking about combining gardening

and the internet and just sort of the interesting community that's built from that.
