Well, I don't know everyone's thoughts on the series finale of Game of Thrones,

but I'll tell you this, I feel more compelled to talk about the blues being one-win-away from the Stanley Cup

than anything I really enjoyed from that.

And I think that says it all.

But this Capitol's talk podcast is not about hockey.

It's about Game of Thrones.

So let's get into that. I'm Rob Corlin with in the studio, Ryan Billy, J.J. Regan, and

Brian McNally, and on the phone, Izzy Kishudian from the Washington Post, Chris Cook from

the athletic, and Tom Gallidi from NHL.comcom who couldn't be with us last week and was so

eager to be with us this week. So Tom, let's give you the floor first. What'd you think of the finale?

It was okay. I mean, I think they kind of wrote themselves into a corner. I don't know. They had to

try to wrap everything up so quickly. And I don't really have a huge problem with how, where people, most of the people ended up,

but how they got there probably was not great. And, you know, I mean, I don't know about

brand being the guy and being on the throne. And I'm not really comfortable. I don't know,

I was going crazy about Sonsa getting to be and have her own independent independent kingdom.

I don't really understand why the other kingdoms would agree to having a, having a Stark running their kingdom and also having a Stark running her own kingdom.

But in general, I thought it was fine. It was like, it was like to me, it doesn't sound like it. No, the whole final season was kind of like a blockbuster movie that, like, you know, you have to just take the good parts out of and, and it wasn't, it wasn't an Oscar winner, but it was still a pretty good show, I would, I would say. And there was no Little Finger so Izzy what's your thoughts
