The The In Esos, we see that the Game of Thrones plays out in Slavers Bay, and elsewhere, presumably, just not first-hand.

It's different than in Westeros, but not so much that we don't see the massive similarities.

And you all are seeing these patterns here in real history, in this very well-documented era that we've been covering.

It's familiar, despite so many unfamiliar elements, meaning the characters and places

you're not as familiar with, but the concepts, the ambitions, the way the game is played,

that stuff, yeah, you guys know this, especially because most of you listening

have Valar reread probably several times, if not at least once. And that gets you very close and

familiar with Westeros, the cultures, the characters, the history, it becomes secondhand.

And the more you build on it, the more you delve in, the more familiar it is.

The more at ease you are going through it, understanding it, experiencing it.

The same thing is happening here with this series.

The more familiar you all get with this portion of Greek history, world history,

the more familiar you are with the characters, the nations, the cultures, the gods, everything else.

That closest is going to keep paying off as we get further into the story.

Rather than maybe some of y'all in episodes one and two, maybe three saying things like,

wait, which, which guy was Aziz just talking about? Which dude with that Greek-sounding name was

that? You're starting to get to the point if you haven't already where you're saying things like,

oh yeah, that's exactly what it just allows to do. Oh, Harda Zerxes never change, or wait.

Epaminondis did what now? Well, I guess I can see that. We've been learning about him,

or something along the lines of, yeah, I can see why Ziz thinks Pelopidas is like Brendan Stark.
