He is one of the OG MBA writers whose work has appeared at Yahoo, ESPN, Sports Illustrated.

He now heads up the ridiculously informative and entertaining NBA newsletter, the second arrangement.

This man basically invented internet basketball writing. He's our good friend. He's a former

colleague. It's Kelly Dwyer. Katie, how's it going, man? It's going. Great fellas. Thanks for having me on.

Really, really excited to talk to you. This was sort of a last minute idea that sparked in my brain

because we had the

whole last dance airing over the last couple of Sundays and that ended and that was fun and everybody

had a blast talking about it and writing about it like you did great work at tsa.substack.com.

But then we find out, hey, ESPN isn't done. We're going to milk this bad boy. Last night, ESPN aired Game 6, The Movie, which their slick PR department described as a

cinematic production of the 98 NBA Finals Game 6 between the Bulls and the Jazz.

And the telecast featured exclusive, you know know never before seen game footage captured by five

different NBA entertainment cameras now I don't know about you guys I was a little skeptical heading into

this I just thought okay it's going to be the game that we saw on NBC and they'll splice in the

odd cool close-up of Michael Jordan or Scotty Pippen or

Phil Jackson. And it wasn't that at all. I mean, this whole thing was in high definition. It was

from one of these five cameras. We had the original commentary. I thought it was fantastic.

What did you think, Katie? Were you also sort of shocked with the production of this thing?

Yeah, I thought the production was going to be like that, but I also thought I was going to find it super boring and kind of a drag to watch a really old 90s basketball game with a lot of people. It was great. I thought it was going to be like that because I know NBA entertainment has cameras even back then. They had stuff everywhere.

So I assumed it was going to be pretty solid and put together.
