| 0:00.0 | Well, Alan, I thought the Caps played better than they did against Pittsburgh. |
| 0:03.5 | They won that game. |
| 0:04.5 | They probably didn't deserve to. They lost the game against Columbus. They probably didn't deserve to. Very different kind of game for them. I think there's areas that they could work on in this one. I like the fact that the shots were about even. They weren't drastically outshot. They played it close to the vest. It was more of a playoff game tonight. So I give you that on that part of it being a better play from them when they didn't have the puck. But by and large, they still have things to work on. Brian McNally, Brayden Holpe, he was really good. Sergei Barovsky was just a little bit better. He was great. You have to tip your hat to him a little bit when you go up against the guy who makes many saves, especially early. Caps had some really good chances, I thought, the first couple minutes, much of the first period, and Bobrovsky, you know, held them at bay, and that set the stage. Columbus got a goal maybe against the run of play there, and went from there. So tough one for the Caps. Caps lose 2 to 1. |
