Welcome to our Wednesday's broadcast of the Gospel Truth.

Today I'm continuing to teach verse by verse through the book of Galatians.

We're now in Galatians chapter 3 and in verse 19.

And I tell you, I've said some awesome things.

This is one of the most powerful passages of Scripture for new Testament believers to get us out from under the old covenant law mentality.

And sad to say, most of the body of Christ today is still living under the law and not experiencing the benefits, the full benefits of our salvation

because they just feel unworthy. The law condemns them. So this is great, great teaching.

So we're now in Galatians chapter 3.

He had been talking about the law and how that the law was not God's original way.

It's not his original covenant he made with man. He made the covenant with Abraham first, and it was based on faith and not performance.

But it says in Galatians chapter 3 and verse 19, wherefore then served the law.

It was added because of transgressions. In other words this first covenant with Abraham was the covenant that God dealt with mankind.

He wanted to deal with us. But people were not understanding how deadly sin was.
