We'll go ahead and get started, and when we get started, we'll be picking up in St. Paul's Epistle to the Galatians chapter 3, verse 19, which is actually a, I was going to say a famous

But that's where we're picking about halfway through Galatians chapter three.

So by way of semi-quick review to get us caught up to where we were, because this has gotten to be a complicated argument a little bit.

It's a dense argument that St. Paul's making.

St. Paul is writing to the Galatians because after his glacier, remember, is not a city, it's a province.

And after St. Paul had gone and planted the churches in that province and started those communities, other teachers have come in after him and are teaching something different.

And the churches are kind of welcoming these people and accepting and listening to the things

that they're teaching, even though St. Paul is making the point that those are not just

different then, but sort of undermine the gospel of Christ that he preached to them. And we've been kind of discovering a little more of what that is,

Christians, that they needed to not just leave their Gentile communities and their Gentile

way of life to come into the Christian community and the Christian way of life,

but actually join the Jewish community and adopt the Jewish way of life in order to be part of the Christian community.
