0:00.0	Hello, my friends. It's Matt. This is the 10-minute Bible Hour podcast, and we are in the middle of what I'm guessing is going to be three days worth of us looking at the whole big timeline of the Old Testament and all the stuff in there where God talks about his plan for what he's doing with the Jewish people, but also that he intends to redeem the not Jewish people like me and maybe like you, which means this is pretty important to us if you happen to be not Jewish, because, hey, most of the Old Testament is about Jewish stuff and Jewish people.
0:34.0	But you and me, if you're non-Jewish, if you're a Gentile like me, we do come up in the Old Testament, and it seems like going to pick up right where we left off. Here we go.
1:13.5	Now we're going to jump forward another 300 years in time from the time of David, around roughly 1,000-ish BC to the time of the prophet Isaiah in the 700s-ish BC.
1:20.1	Now, shortly after the time of David, there's a civil war and the kingdom broke up.
1:24.2	It's terrible.
1:25.4	The northern kingdom had 10 tribes that went up that direction. It was a
1:28.9	dumpster fire up there. The Southern Kingdom has two tribes, more or less, left of God's chosen
1:35.1	people. It sometimes goes a little better down there. But man, so much has changed. So much
1:40.6	has happened between David and Isaiah. Maybe the plan is off. Maybe God's going to do something
1:46.2	different now because of choices that people made. Nope. You turn to the book of Isaiah and what you find
1:51.8	is that the plan is on, the promise that God made to Abraham about him being blessed and being
1:58.1	a blessing to all the nations and his descendants, it's still the deal.
2:01.9	Isaiah 42, verse 6, I the Lord have called you in righteousness.
2:06.2	I will take hold of your hand.
2:07.6	I will keep you and make you to be a covenant for the people and a light for the Gentiles.
2:12.7	Boom, there it is.
2:13.6	You heard them.
2:14.2	Covenants still on with the descendants of Abraham.
2:16.9	Also, the plan to
2:18.4	redeem everybody is also still on. Let me give you a couple more examples from Isaiah over here
2:24.8	in chapter 56. There's a whole big chunk about God including outsiders during this time,
2:32.2	the time in which Isaiah is writing before Jesus, and it also looks
