documentary about the debacle that is the Fire Festival that happened in 2017.

You'll probably recall the social media schadenfreude, like even if you had no, like I had no idea what the

fuck fire was, but as it was happening it was a

humanitarian crisis that that was like bloodless A manufactured humanitarian crisis?

But this could have, I mean, this could have had a body count.

Sure.

It could easily turn just, just, or still probably be funny, but you couldn't be as open about how funny you found it if people actually died or if some kind of, you know, rape gang was formed or something like that but it and it also rotates

around the founder of Billy McFarland's like shady business dealings and the role of

social media influencers and our lifestyle today and what was also interesting

is an exact same day Hulu debuted another documentary two days before actually they beat them to the did they really the punch yeah

called fire fraud I think and so I've seen the fire festival documentary on Netflix I've seen the first

35-ish minutes of the other one because you

watched them both and seemed like you had a high opinion of both. Can we start there?

What do you think of the documentary? What does your level of involvement in
