My wife and I began praying ahead for our children,

before they were even a twinkle in her eye.

We prayed for our grandchild before he was born,

and we've even started praying ahead for his family and his children.

But think for a moment that long before you were born,

So to begin, whether your eyes are just now opening to the hope of a new day,

For now, allow your eyes to close without effort. Permit your mind to begin without effort.

Permit your mind to begin to center on the love of Christ.

Consent to be guided by love through the Holy Spirit.

And concede for your mind, your body and soul to be quenched and satisfied in the love of God. Continue in this time of prayer by listening and then responding to this passage from 2 Corinthians chapter 5.

And as I lead us, respond only Lord God, I pray for today and for future generations.
