And obviously we're talking about what is rising up out of the message from just a few days ago on Second Chronicles about Solomon's successful leadership.

I have something to say because I had someone come and asked me in

the lobby there, you're talking about submission to the Lord and asking him for wisdom to

create structures where people can flourish. So you're talking about sort of having your faith

and form how you function in the workplace. The question this person asked was, okay, can you talk a little more

about practically what that looks like as I go into my workplace? Am I supposed to impose my

beliefs on people? Do I force them to believe as I do? Like, what exactly do you mean in terms of

the pragmatics of how my faith informs my work? And it was a good

question because I realized I didn't really get real deep into some of how do you do that, incorporate,

I talked about the tensions that exist with that, but how do you incorporate your faith into your work?

And I'll tell you what I told her, and then I'm curious your take as well, I told her,

it's not so much that you come in and and then I'm curious your take as well. I told her, it's not so much

that you come in and say, I'm going to enforce my views on you all, if you're the leader of

an organization. It's more I'm going to display my convictions and the way that I go about my work.

It's Daniel that we talked about, that he worked in a government that did not

have allegiance to his God. He worked for a king who did not always have the best intentions or ideas,

and yet God placed Daniel there in that government position, and Daniel was manifesting the qualities

of a believer in the Lord.
