It's Wednesday, January 1st, 2025 from Peach Productions. It's the gist. I'm Mike Peska. And that five, that was new, right?

You felt that. I said that for the first time. It's weird. I guess the old joke is,

I'm still saying my intros like it's 2024. Comedian Roy Wood Jr. was on the show,

and it was a really good conversation because he comes from an

interesting and eclectic and a very smart family. His dad was a journalist. He's, you know,

something of a journalist. And funny you should mention is, I would say, what I do is journalistic,

but we examine the premise of jokes. We sort of talk a little bit about the setup and how true the setup is.

And, you know, Roy Wood, who is the host of a CNN show called Have I Got News for You,

he could someday host a show called The Setup because he is talking about real issues and real facts and real

stories as would the son of an acclaimed journalist. I very much enjoyed our conversation.

Roy Wood is always an interesting guy and a surprising guy and a great comedian. And to watch
