Hello and welcome to Girls girls camp welcome back if you've been here before and if you're new here

welcome I'm so glad you're here and I hope you stay a while. Today's episode I'm super excited for. I am always very

excited but I'm particularly excited to share this conversation that I had

with Maddie Murphy of the bad broadcast.

Many of you probably know Maddie, but she has a very successful podcast

that she's been doing for a few years now and she left the church in course of

building her podcast and her platform and she really shares so candidly about what that whole experience was like, why she left the church, how and when, all

the juicy details you want to know, but much more importantly, she just has such good advice and perspective and I left the

conversation feeling really inspired and motivated and I know that you will as

well and I can't wait to share the conversation with you.

Before we dive right into that, I do mention in course of the conversation with

Maddie that I got my first mean reveal.

Dun, done, honestly, it was expected.

I knew that some people would be upset by the podcast,

but it appears some defenders of the Mormon faith have stumbled across

the podcast and left a handful of one-star ratings and one person left a paragraph review that is actually super fascinating.

I want to read the review and kind of dig into it with you all in the future

because it's just a really interesting case study for this

like defense mechanism that kicks in for some people.

Anyhow, there's a lot to talk about there.
