Hi John. And joining us today, I believe having voted early in Asheville, North Carolina,

one of my oldest friends, political expert consultant, White House aide, and consultant

and advisor on many presidential campaigns and conventions and the like, Daniel Cass.

Hi Dan, how are you? I'm great John. I am as a regular listener. I'm honored to be here and

look forward to discussing all this with you. Okay, so basically we figured that since there's

literally nothing to say, everything is the dius cast. I by the way voted early. So since I was

doing a whole who's voted already. Since the dius cast, there's nothing to be said. There's no more

to be said. We'll see what happens tonight and maybe beyond tonight. So we thought we might instead

take some, take a jaunt down various memory lanes of Election Days past and elections that went

the ways that we might have wanted and elections that didn't go the way that we might have wanted.

If you have read and most of you, the overwhelming majority of you have not read my first book,

Hell of a Ride, Daniel Cass, our guest is a character in Hell of a Ride. He worked in the White House and

one of the quaintest sections of the book now having been published in 1993 features. Dan and
