It's being represented in the Winter Olympics, and that's Alana Myers.

And she talked to us last week before the ceremonies, and she's back again from Vancouver. Hey, Alana. Hey, how are you? Good. How are you?

I'm good, good. I mean, the first thing we have to address here is, obviously, is that

loser from Georgia. I mean, this is before the official ceremonies even start that happens. So for you as an

athlete who is in sort of a, I guess, like a sister sport, I mean, how did you feel about that whole

thing? You know, it just kind of put in perspective how dangerous our sliding sports are and how

dangerous this track is, and it really shook up everyone around here, but, you know, I think they made some changes to the track is and it really it really shook up everyone

around here but you know I think they made some changes to the track and I

think we're gonna be okay so so you do compete on the same track yes yes and did

you do that track and you did some practice runs before this all happened we've

done two weeks of training earlier this year,

and then we also did two weeks of training in a race last year.

So what kind of changes did they make to the track to make it safer for you guys?

There's ways you can cut ice differently.
