The Fertia. It is Pride Month and I think a lot of people are going to use this month to come on out.

Come on out to their parents and they are absolutely terrified.

So we thought this morning, you know, you hear so many different stories of people that came out

to their parents and were rejected by their parents, like their parents never talked to them

again or didn't handle it right? Well how about the parents

that handled it perfectly and maybe those that are coming out this month can

use this as the example because I've never heard a story like this

before right?

So there's a website called when I came out.

and there are thousands of coming out stories.

There's the good ones, there's the bad ones.

But I love that all these people have gone here

to share their coming out story,

and you're more than likely going to find

somebody that has a similar story as you and it makes you feel less alone and

whatever you're going through. So I picked some of the ones from when I came out.com that I thought

embodied what we're looking for here which is those positive coming out stories

to help those in the LGBTQ plus community who want to come out but haven't yet, right?

So the first one, when I came out, I was still struggling with internalized homophobia.
