So this weekend, I'm fully stepping into Psycho.

And no, it's not over a guy.

It's over a bridesmaid dress.

Which somehow feels worse.

My cousin is getting married this weekend.

I'm a bridesmaid.

Inside scoop, this is a forced family obligation, we aren't tight.

She sent us a link months ago to order our bridesmaid dresses in this very specific and very ugly B.T. Dub's shade of mauve.

What is that? Like a purpleish?

It's like a deep dusty purple, you know? It's a little bit more mature than regular purple. Mav. It does sound very elitist. Well, it's kind of like, to me it's not elitist. It's very, like, granny. It's a little granny. Well, I mean, it could be beautifully done. It could be depending on the cut and style of the dress.

Uh-huh.

I ordered it on time.

I paid for rush alterations.

I've been a team player.

Then, just a few weeks ago, she sends out a group text saying she's changing the dress.
