meeting her boyfriend's family for the first time over the weekend and it already sounded

like Friday when she sent us that email. She was trying too hard.

Yeah. And well, she's worried about it because they've been together for three months now.

And I mean, she just really, really likes this guy to the point where she and her friends

can't find a flow on him and she thinks the world of them. So she wants to make a good

impression and he didn't make it easy on her by going out of his way to tell her that his

mom has never liked any girl that he has brought home. But he does think that she will be

different and it's important to him that his mom likes the lady that he's with.

So she's filling all of the pressure and she called us because she wanted to get it right.

She wasn't sure what she should do, what she should say, if she should bring something or how

would she go. So she reached out to us for advice and I mean, we kind of told her what everybody

always says, just be yourself and it will work out. So here is the email that she sent us as

a follow up. Bert Show, thanks for all the advice to be myself. She also writes, I'm so terrible

at that. Okay, really quick. Why did she have to put be myself in quotations? Like it doesn't

need to be in quotes. Be myself. Yeah, no, it doesn't. Here's why she says because here,

quotations again, myself is incredibly awkward and insecure. For instance, I don't know when to use

quotes. I'm not even sure what that means when people say that. I like the idea of more quotes.
