For the first time in April and you guys are tight.

Yeah, we've gotten a lot closer as we've gotten older.

Like it wasn't always like that.

Like I grew up in the kind of household where the parents were parents and the kids were kids and I feel like there's a moment in every

parents life where all of a sudden they wake up and they're like, oh, this is like a

a tipping point like one thing that happens that makes them see you

differently or you think it just comes over time?

Probably when you start paying your own insurance that helps.

But for me it's been somewhat more recent.

Like I feel like the first couple of years since I lived in my hometown, there was still kind of

of like that parent-child dynamic of, well I would just see them on the weekends or we would hang

out by the pool every now and then.

And there didn't really seem to be much of a break between like when I was in college and

then when I graduated, just because it all kind of melded together.

And then when I moved to this city to work here, I feel like it kind of switched to

flipping my parents mind that they're like, oh God like our kid is an adult like out here

existing it'd be really cool to actually be friends with this person this isn't summer

camp this is really you in real life this is really me in real life and I think the

distance has really created an appreciation on both ends like I appreciate the

moments where I get to talk to my parents because I don't see them all the time
