Christian welcome friends to the Christian O'Connell show podcast Patsy hi you're back how are you feeling I don't know what's worse what happened to England and the collapse every weekend at the ashes or having COVID oh you're poor thing do you know what Patsy we've been isolating for eight days and then on Friday when I was just two days away from freedom I tested for it.

Sarah and my wife and her 76 year old mother-in-law have not come down with it yet,

which obviously means they're made of stronger stuff from me.

I couldn't do another day off.

We've already had six weeks off.

I know.

I've been six weeks living with my mother-in-law.

I need to get back to work.

On my mother-in-law, we've got big news coming up in five minutes time about that.

I know so many of you listening will have had what I've got.

It's everywhere.

I know a couple of weeks ago, if we said,

call in now if you've had COVID, we'd get a couple of calls. If I said called in now if you've had COVID over Christmas and some of the switchboards would be jammed

for days. Just hearing Patsy talk about the implications on the supply chain, that loan breakfast

shows are huge at the moment. It's everywhere. So I got it Friday, a bit of a rough weekend,

not well enough, and obviously it's not safe enough

to be back in the studio with you guys and Jack back with us tomorrow. But I'm feeling well enough

this morning. I couldn't do another day, not coming back and starting a year.
