Thanksgiving is right around the corner. Much to be thankful for all this end. Hope so for you as well. I want to touch on a couple of issues today. I had one of those full life circle moments. My wife and I drove to Columbia, South Carolina, to watch our son be admitted into the bar, not admitted to a not that kind of bar.

The legal bar.

He's the oldest of our two children, and he went to law school first, but I really had next to no interest in practicing law at the time. So we headed into real estate.

And then he decided, you know what, I am going to take the bar exam and give myself more options.

And today, he was sworn in, which to me is, and I told him, that is a testament to perseverance and discipline.

So well done, young man. It was 36 years ago that I was sitting where he sat, taking the oath, having just passed the bar exam. And many things have changed. All five members of the South Carolina Supreme Court have changed, and all five were present today.
