Let's call to mind all those we've promised to pray for. I'm continuing to offer this 54-day

Rosary Novina for the healing of Olivia Caneli, for Jeannie Sherman and especially that my son-in-law Nick will be home for

the birth of his son Cormac, the first part of June, and we are in the midst of the 27 day portion of thanking God ahead of time

for answering this prayer.

So I keep announcing this publicly so that our lady can't blow it because if she does I will make it known.

That's a throwdown for our lady isn't it?

Our first meditation. What do you want? We all have a powerful desire

within us that we call arrows, that is a hunger or thirst for infinite beauty, goodness, and truth.

It is the desire for God.

We have this desire because we were made for union with him.

And faced with this desire, we have three options.

To become a stoic who represses all desire and just follows the rules.

To become an addict who tries to fill his infinite desire

with the finite pleasure of the world that can never satisfy, but only enslave, or become an aspiring mystic,

one who longs for God.

Our Father who art in heaven, hallow would be your name, thy kingdom come thy will be done on earth

as it is in heaven.

Give us the stay our daily bread and three of us our trespasses as we free of those who trespass against us and lead us not into temptation
