I love these throwback episodes because it brings up such great memories of these boutique owners that I have been so fortunate to watch their journey evolve over time.

0:12.8

So today's throwback episode is an important one because this boutique owner, my friend Danny from the French pineapple is someone who has done an excellent job

0:23.4

of really nailing her customer. She is in a niche market, right? She has a trending Western

0:29.4

customer. So she has really figured out how to speak specifically to that customer's style.

0:35.5

And I think that the Western boutiques that I know that are doing

0:39.2

really well, obviously they've nailed that niche. They know their customer. They speak to them.

0:43.0

But I think it's something for anyone who's not Western to like take a lesson from. When you target

ages 24 to 50 and I'm going to buy all these different types of things, these trends, these basics,

sometimes you have to alienate people, right? And like push people away who are not your customer

1:21.6

in order to really attract the ones who are. So I hope you think about that. I hope you journal

1:26.4

about that. I hope you figure out the story

1:29.1

brand message of how do you become the wise guide in the story of the hero, which is really your

1:35.4

customer. And the hero is always fighting a villain, right? Who is the villain? Who's the

1:39.2

hero? And how can you be the wise guide to support them along that journey. So with that, meet my friend Danny,

1:45.7

the owner and founder of Fringed Pineapple. You're going to love this episode.

1:54.9

Let's talk about your business, strategy, and the juicy details of what actually works,

1:59.6

from mainstream fashion to fashion on
