How are you doing?

0:20.1

We are in the Games Workshop HQ, specifically in the employee commissary.

0:26.1

Yeah, yeah, yeah, in the canteen.

0:29.9

The only little place we can find the way that's quiet is it's mad out there.

0:34.7

It's just, yeah, people buzzing around full of excitement in 40,000. Bugland's Bar is rammed. There's a pub quiz going on right now. There's a pub quiz going on right now. We've kind of stepped out to kind of like have a chat here. But yeah, they seem to having loads of fun. And we just came off of you playing a game of Warhammer 40K, 8th edition, and I was running commentary on Warhammer TV. Yeah, how was that? It was awesome. Yeah. I never get tired of talking about this stuff. I don't get tired about playing it. It was a great game. Really, really, really good. Before we started recording this, you were talking about that game and I guess the joy that you were describing the game did not go very well for you.

1:26.7

them and I was going up against

1:28.2

the astro militarum and yeah that was just a all the way through that was just a really really tough

1:34.8

fight was really good the asthmilitar are very strong they get all the toys and the toys got better

1:39.6

the toys got better the the thing that kind of surprised me on the list was, because we were

1:45.0

playing 1500 points, so a fairly small game, but the Colonel had still managed to squeeze a brigade

1:51.0

in that. So he just came to the table with 12 command points, and that was the thing which

1:55.0

really cinched it for him. It was just the ability to just re-roll those critical dice rolls at every single command points. And you came in with three. I came in with three because, yeah, I've got an Imperial knife. I thought, it needs command points, yeah. Who needs luck when you have a knight? I've got raw firepower. I've got might on my side. No, I needed command points is what I needed. I know we just jump right into it, but tell us about what your role in this

2:19.3
