Matt, I think the distinction of the most interesting position group on Florida State football roster this season definitely is the quarterback position.

What's going to happen with Ashton Daniels?

Is there going to be a true quarterback competition not only this spring, this fall?

You heard Tom and Jeff talk about that earlier in the week.

I think a close second in terms of interest is going to be how this defensive line

position group performs.

But let's start here.

I think the key in terms of not only adding a lot of depth to this room, but making

sure that this defensive line is going to be competent this season, a lot of that relied

upon getting back the Deer Twins.

And after a lengthy, let's call it a negotiating battle because that's what it was. After a lengthy negotiating battle, DeZer twins are back into the fold and there's a lot that's going to be expected of them this upcoming season. Yeah, for sure. I mean, they have to play a big part. And, you know, they've also gotten bigger since they first got here. We all know that. So I think they're going to be playing multiple roles on that defensive line this year, especially in the versatile 335 that Tony White likes to run, right? And you're going to see a lot of these guys that you saw in some positions last year not really played the same. I guess the best way to put it. Would you agree? Is that the best way? I mean, there's a lot of ways that you can interpret how they're going to do. I think you really had to go four down last year to put up with Florida State's lack of passing rush. Now, that may end up being a problem again this season. We don't know how some of those new additions, especially on the edge rushers in the jack position, the Ryland Kennedys of the world, the Jalen Anderson's of the world. We don't know exactly how they're going to perform. If there's a lack of passing pass rush, you may see it where Tony White is forced to go four down and add guys like the Zier twins push them inside, have Deontay McCray be inside and outside. There's a lot of different ways that you can deal with that.

But I do think at least the hope is that they're going to be able to go true 335

now that they have some more jack type bodies in this defense that they've added

in the portal window.

Yeah, 100%.

I mean, then you first look at Rylan Kennedy and Jalen Anderson, like you said.

You know, I would think those are likely your top two guys when it comes to a jack position.

And it's the first time we'll see that true jack.

When it comes to freshmen, you're looking at Jamin Pinckney, Chris Carbin, as other guys who might be in that jack room.

And Brooks would have been considered with that,

especially before he tore his Achilles.

But who knows?
