Willie Corey Godbolt was born on May 1st, 1982. His family and friends called him Corey. He had at least three siblings, a sister and two brothers. He may have had more, but those are the only ones that I read about.

His parents separated prior to his birth and his father married the

On November 15, 1999, when Corey was 17,

his stepmother shot and killed his father,

a police officer who had been violent towards her after she tried to leave him.

She accused him of domestic violence but the charges were dropped.

That night in November she shot him using his own police revolver and then she pleaded guilty to manslaughter and burglary.
